About J.ot Down (j.otdown.com):
-------------------------------

J.ot Down is a simple Internet-based notepad. Here are some simple instructions:

1) Open j.otdown.com in your browser.
2) Start typing.
3) Pause for a moment (or hit "Save") and J.ot Down will save your note and give you a
permanent link for it (as seen in your browsers location bar)
4) Continue to edit your note or share it (or a read-only version) with your friends.
5) Bookmark your note for later access or just start another one.

Whenever you pause your typing J.ot Down will save your changes.

Useful tip: Keep notes open in your browser so that as you work you can return to them.

J.ot Down is useful for:
------------------------

-"To do" lists.
-Jotting down ideas or reminders.
-Sharing large chunks of text quickly with others.

J.ot Down is not currently intended for:
----------------------------------------

-Simultaneous collaborative document editing.
-High security items.

Future features include:
------------------------
